Pergammon looks great.... do you realise that the first leather condom originated from here in the first century BC. The human race owes its existence to the inefficiency of this device, and it took two thousand years to develop the modern rubber device. Behind the baptisry in Pergammon is an interesting engraving, some say the very first condom advert, depict two vestal virgins, soon to be ex virgins, examining the article. It is claimed that Diocletian on hearing of this new idea had a vault specially commissioned in his new palace in Splt to store many thousand of them. I am still researching further development of this fascinating subject which started in Pergammon centuries ago. Good work Pixie and Bill..keep searching. Recent research has shown that the so called Dutch Cap is in fact more of a Greek toga. Your thoughts would be much apprecioated.
Bill and Pixi Bowen spent 2007 cruising the Eastern Mediterranean, Sea of Marmara, Black Sea and Red Sea aboard their Wauquiez Centurion 48S sailing yacht. They saw the New Year in at Abu Tig marina near Hurghada in Egypt and are now preparing for further adventures. Current plan is to cross the Indian Ocean to South india and then sail on to Thailand.
Bill is an international oil and gas consultant born in England with Canadian citizenship. Pixi is an independent caterer born in Zimbabwe with British citizenship.
They have two (lovely, grown-up) daughters living in the London area.

Intsomi is a French built yacht designed by Ed Dubois as a fast cruiser/racer and built by Wauquiez in 1996, before the takeover by the Beneteau group. After buying Intsomi in late 2004 she underwent an extensive re-fit during 2005 and left Port-Grimaud, France in December for Palma, Majorca. In 2006 she cruised from Palma via Tunisia, Malta, Sicily, Italy and Greece to Marmaris in Turkey where she was laid up afloat for the winter of 2006/07.
